About Our Charity
Our charitable association Lar do Caminho USA was created by a small group of friends, residing in Key Biscayne, Florida, who wanted to help provide housing and care for abandoned
children in Brazil.
After a few years of informal fundraising,
we registered as a non-profit organization in the State of Florida in 2017 and subsequently received our tax exemption from the IRS as a qualified 501 c-3 organization.
